An assignment was sent out over the blog sphere to write your own eulogy. I've thought about it, and worked at it, and simply can't do it the justice done by others. The best I can present you is my hope, and if less is more, I'll do just fine.
She loved the Lord, and She loved us passionately...
If that's all that is said of me when I die, that will be enough.

Amen to that!
I can give witness to both.
Well how funny...we're kinda thinking on the same wave length right now. I didn't read this post until this morning, but in the wee hours of the morning today I wrote a new blog post on much the same vein.
I think your own eulogy is dead on (no pun intended)in describing you. It's what I see characterized in you. You are a simple, straight forward kind of woman.
This whole exercise reminds me of the Little House on the Praire episode where the old Irish woman faked her own death with the help of Caroline so her children would come and see her, so she could hear what they truly thought of her. I think it's a good thing to do so we can examine our lives (a Biblical mandate for pre-communion) and see if we are living our lives in such a way that it will leave a footprint in the hearts and lives of those we walk this earth with.
Good post, Gal.
Lovely - and you're right, less is more. Thanks for doing this Stace.
Interesting
Amen! It doesn't get more succinct than this. What a beautiful summary of the Christian life!
